Dr. Dean Faulkner has been involved with the Center for Church Planting since its inception in 2016, serving first as the associate director and for the past 2 years as the interim director. Ordained in the late 90s, he served in a revitalization work as his first pastorate. He was then called to plant a PCA daughter church, Church of the Redeemer, in Monroe, North Carolina in 2001. In 2016, he was called to plant his second daughter church, South CLT Presbyterian, in Charlotte.  Besides serving in many mission roles in the presbytery and the denomination, he now works as the Lead Pastor at South CLT Pres while developing the next generation of church planting pastors at RTS Charlotte’s Center for Church Planting. Dean completed his Doctor of Ministry on Living Hope in 2021. Dean has a demonstrated history of work in the church, with a heart for church planting and for training younger pastors. Besides serving in many mission roles in the presbytery and the denomination, he also works as the Lead Pastor at South CLT Presbyterian Church, a church he was called to plant 5 years ago.
